Joga Bonito is a football coaching platform providing training drills, educational content, and AI-assisted coaching tools. By using our services, you agree to use them lawfully and responsibly. Physical training carries inherent risks—always consult a medical professional before starting any exercise program. Player data you record is stored locally on your device; you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent. Drills and sessions you create are stored on our servers and may be retained and shared with other users even after account deletion. We use Stripe for secure payments. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
By accessing or using Joga Bonito, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

We strongly recommend that all users, especially youth players, perform activities under the supervision of a qualified coach or trainer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law in your jurisdiction, you release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Joga Bonito, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to participation in training activities based on our content, any injuries or damages sustained while using our training methods, any equipment failure or facility conditions, and any acts or omissions of other users or third parties.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Joga Bonito from any claims brought by third parties (including minors for whom you are responsible) arising from injuries or damages related to use of our training content.
Note for certain jurisdictions: Some jurisdictions (including the UK, EU, Australia, and others) do not permit waivers of liability for negligence causing death or personal injury, fraud, or certain consumer protection rights. In those jurisdictions, this waiver applies only to the extent permitted by law, and does not affect your statutory rights.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization (such as a club or school), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
The services and all content, features, and functionality (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Joga Bonito and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our platform content, training materials, or drills without our express written permission.
Drills and sessions you create: Any training drills, session plans, or coaching content you create using our platform remain your intellectual property. However, by creating and saving content on our platform, you grant Joga Bonito a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to store, edit, and display your content, use aggregate, anonymized data about drill and session usage to improve our services, and display your content (and edited versions of it) to other users.
Content retention on account deletion: If you delete your account, content you have created (such as drills and training sessions) may be retained, archived, or continue to be shared with other users at the discretion of Joga Bonito. This is because other users may depend on content you have contributed to the platform. Where retained content is kept after account deletion, it will be disassociated from your personal account information.
AI-generated content: When you use our AI-assisted features (such as AI drill generation or AI session building), your input descriptions and preferences are sent to third-party AI service providers for processing. We do not send your personal account information to these providers. Content generated using AI tools is treated the same as content you create manually for the purposes of this section. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the suitability of any AI-generated content before using it in training.
Player data you record: All player names, statistics, and match data you record are your data and remain under your control. We claim no ownership or rights to this information.

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Payment Processing: All payment transactions are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your complete payment card details. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
New subscribers receive a free trial period. During the trial you have full access to premium features. Your payment method will be charged automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it expires. You may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (via the Stripe Customer Portal). When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period you have already paid for. After that date, your account will revert to the free tier.
UK and EU users:
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK) and the Consumer Rights Directive (EU), you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period from the date your paid subscription begins (i.e. after any free trial ends and your first payment is taken). During this 14-day period, you may request a full refund by contacting us at hello@jogabonito.app. If you have used the Service during the cooling-off period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the point of cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 14 days via your original payment method.
All users (after the cooling-off period or where no statutory cooling-off right applies):
We do not generally provide refunds for partial subscription periods. However, we may, at our discretion, offer a refund or credit in exceptional circumstances (for example, a significant service outage or billing error). To request a refund, contact us at hello@jogabonito.app with details of your request. All refunds are processed through Stripe.
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

You acknowledge that the disclaimers and limitations in these Terms are fair and reasonable to the extent permitted in your jurisdiction, and that you would not use the services without these protections in place.
UK users: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
EU users: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer protection rights under the law of your country of residence.
US users: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where your state law provides greater consumer protections.
Other users: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
UK/EU users: Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, although you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence if permitted by local law.
Other users: Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to mandatory dispute resolution mechanisms in your jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under the law of your jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
